Blessed to have Natalie and Andy’s garden-styled wedding in the cold winter of December in Hong Kong. It was a very windy day but they radiated warmth and love. From the stunning ceremony setup to the reception areas, the DIY decorated jars and many props, all the way to the romantic aisle for the bride to march in, as well as the long bench, every detail is designed in a flush of blue, the favorite color of the bride. It took us 2 weeks to get all these prepared and I’m overwhelmed. The spectacular sea view and the mountain view, were a treat to this wedding.
We started off the wedding day with breakfast, then makeup, hair, some pre-wedding photo shooting, followed by the ceremony. It didn’t really feel any different, until the moment came up when Natalie walked down the aisle, and delivered her personalized vow in front of Andy, facilitated by our civil celebrant, Agnes Chiu. The touching words, supplemented by the live music by Daniel Howells, made many people cried.
This couple maintained a focus on their genuine affection and love. They turned a cold day into a really amazing celebration of love and life. Photographed by Howard Photography, who also delivered one of the best highlights of the day – the FPV (first person view) video/photo equipment! The remote controlled camera on a flying jet, helped capture many group photos, our smiles, and the blessing, from a very wide and top angle. Everyone were excited.
We felt blessed for being part of this gorgeous celebration. And the story of Apartment 431 & 432, (the couples were side-by-side neighbors when they were kids!), now started a new chapter!
